Michelle's Story
My name is Michelle Rose Warner Rapp. I was born Michelle Rose Davis. My Aunt and Uncle adopted me when I was 15. I was born in Springfield, Ohio, and spent my first 12 years there. My schools include Homer L. Ferguson High and Ft Knox High. While I didn't graduate high school I did get my GED. I graduated from Richard Weston School of Cosmetology, I also received a 2 yr associate degree in Office Information and a Word Processing Certificate both from Sinclair Community College.
I'm retired, but worked 4 years at Sinclair Community College as Administrative Assistant to Julie Saluke, Program Coordinator, in the Travel and Tourism program. I then moved to Seaside Heights, NJ to be with the man I was engaged to. I lived there for one year, and worked at the Aztec Resort Motel at 901 Boardwalk, as Switchboard Operator. Moved back to Dayton and worked at Kb ToyWorks.
One of Rosie's favorite quotes is:"Don't think I'm stupid just because I don't know the answer to your question!
-- by me --".
More about Rosie:"I was always pretty lame in school... more like a worn out feeling and not able to take in -or remember for long- what was being taught. After some attempts at jobs and desperate dreams of having a life of luxury with love... More...I do plan to add...Expand for more
more to this when I have some time without having to go to the grocery. I do wonder sometimes about someone from way back in life, someone I loved and was engaged to in high school. He's married, and while I don't think he's ever going to forget me... I wonder why it is he has said "don't ever give up that we could someday be together". 'Ever' is what confuses me... how long is that... my 6 year grandson has lately been saying "infinity" to me about so many things! LOL! Anyway... I'm not always obsessed with this man, but I do think about him and wonder if we might ever get back together. There are a few of you guys who know who I'm talking about, but it's best I don't say his name. Right?
well... I miss my Mom ); How many times a day does something come up and I think about calling her to tell her, or to ask her what a word means. Who is this, or when did this happen and why? And just to tell her I love her because she's so important to me in my life.
and... no, I'm not really in a relationship with anyone, there's too much pain in loving only to lose
Aaron Gatewood and I had the same bio-father... Kenneth Gatewood. Ken died of lung cancer in 1997.
For anyone who knew John Ivan Umbel, he passed away. April 25, 1949 ~ September 22, 2021 (age 72)
